A Challenge Gift is a pledge of $500 or more that helps us rally the rest of our community. It shows other men and families that someone believes in this work enough to go first.

From November 12 to December 31, every gift to Breakthrough Men’s Community through Monterey County Gives! helps another man find his way into the room. Each participating nonprofit also receives a pro rata match on the first $75,000 it raises.

Why your gift matters
For over 35 years, Breakthrough has helped men heal, find real community, and show up better for the people in their lives. Our workshop is two 13-week sessions, in Monterey and on Zoom, with men meeting in small groups guided by trained graduates.
No man should be turned away over money. Gifts like yours help fund discounted tuition for men facing financial challenges, so the door stays open to every man ready to change. Breakthrough Men’s Community is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your gift may be tax deductible.
